One-Stop Cross-Border Shopping — Shop the World offers a one-stop cross-border shopping experience for UP cardholders. Cardholders can log in to Shop the World, explore the latest fashion trends and place an order directly on the platform. For onboarding merchants, Shop the World offers a high-quality selling channel, which better helps merchants with branding and transaction volume growth.
UCSP realizes two-way connection and resource integration between channels and service providers through standardized API docking. By integrating resources from channels (e.g. UnionPay app, white label wallet and banking apps) and service providers (e.g. utility fees, tax refunds, transport, recreation and delivery), UCSP offers core functions, such as unified accounts, order synchronization, payment services, customized solutions and data analysis.

The UnionPay Benefit Rewards Platform provides a tool to award benefits for cardholder behavior and to implement differentiated benefits for Channel Partners. By using the platform for liaison, both the Channel Partner and Benefit Provider (Merchant) can substantially lower the cost of technical integration, while implementing the benefit service scope. Meanwhile, the dynamic display of benefits based on cardholder's eligible cards and corresponding consumption performance can continuously incentivize cardholders to increase the possibility of card usage.
The UPI Points Redemption Platform (UPRP) provides membership card binding and points redemption for both industry partners and channel partners like banks and merchants. By using the platform for liaison, both partners can substantially lower the cost of technical integration while expanding the usage scope of their reward points. Besides strengthening loyalty programs, the platform is also a convenient way for channel partners to develop business cooperation with more popular merchants, and for industry partners to obtain more branding exposures and customers.
UnionPay works with over 10 tax refund companies, such as Global Blue, Planet Tax Free, to provide a cross-border tax refund service, and now covers over 300,000 merchants and more than 48 countries & regions. Once cardholders are qualified for claiming tax refunds after shopping at cooperative merchants, just simply filling in their UnionPay card number in the tax free form to get refunds when completing all the refund processes. In addition, cardholders even can enjoy instant refund as well as related value-added services via UnionPay app, which is a safe, fast, and convenient way.
MoneyExpress is a cross-border remittance service provided by UnionPay, which is cost effective, efficient and profitable for UnionPay cardholders. The service was launched to meet the needs of international and domestic remittance mainly for travelers, immigrants and foreign workers. Multiple remittance channels include over-the-counter and online solutions for remittance initiation that bring an improved customer experience. Real-time account credit and automatic currency conversion increases the accessibility of the money received.
A transaction where an online authorization request is initiated and completed without the presence of a card, therefore no track/chip data or PIN is captured in the transaction. CNP scenarios include MO/TO, recurring, in-flight commerce, tax recollection and some hotel reservation/car rental transactions without a card present, but does not include e-commerce transactions.
UnionPay International’s installment payment service (hereinafter referred to as “installment payment” or “installment”), refers to the service that allows cardholders to repay the amount of the purchased goods or services on a continued and periodic basis. The cardholder can apply for installment payment via a POS terminal, the internet or mobile device, then the merchant participating in UnionPay installment service (hereinafter referred to as “merchant” or “participating merchant”) initiates the payment request, and the request is switched by the UnionPay system and forwarded to the issuer’s system for online authorization. Upon the issuer’s approval, the issuer settles the full amount with the acquirer and bills the cardholder as per the agreed installment arrangement until the total amount is paid.

The UnionPay wallet solution is a highly flexible and secure platform-based solution that incorporates mobile payments, P2P transfers, and various value-added services. With a modular design and API interface, the UnionPay wallet solution enables UnionPay partners of all sizes to quickly develop their own customized wallet payment solution while maintaining their brand and the relationship between their partners and cardholders. Moreover, the UnionPay wallet solution adopts token technology, which keeps cardholder’s financial information protected and encrypted. Joining the UnionPay wallet solution can quickly deliver the wallet app to the market and makes the payment experience fast, safe and easy.
The USSD solution is a mobile payment solution designed for markets where there is a lack of local network infrastructure and smart devices. It can enable featured phones to send mobile payment transactions by inputting the merchant till number, transaction amount and PIN, and it can work under a GSM network.
UnionPay PaybyLink aims to provide one-stop, secure and reliable solution for merchants who want to quickly set up online sales service for customers. Without the need for system development or reconfiguration, merchants can use the platform to rapidly create payment links that can be sent to customers via email, text message or social media, thus assisting merchants in enhancing brand value and increasing transaction volume.
The Mobile Phone as POS (Soft POS) solution is an android smartphone which integrates various payment modes including QuickPass and QR Code. It allows small merchants where POS is not applicable to better check out. In UnionPay Mobile POS solution, the acquirers should be responsible for developing the acquiring APP and the SDK which can call the NFC and camera, which also allows acquirers to provide more flexible services to merchants.
Cardholders do not need to link their cards to the digital wallet or to online (Card-On-File) merchants. Based on Token technology and under the premise of ensuring cardholders' information security, tokens will be pushed to these merchants and be managed directly in the Issuer App, greatly improving cardholders’ payment experience. The functions mainly include: (1) Token Request; (2) Token Lifecycle Management.
Digital Zone solution will utilize UnionPay card product, wallet product, QR Code product and Big Data capability to achieve real-name authentication and secure payment on campus or enterprise zone. By combining smart devices like mobile phone with on-campus scenarios (gate, canteen, meeting room, library, dormitory etc.), the solution can offer staff/students access control, online and offline payment, attendance check, enrollment etc., and can establish the card-free digital workplace or campus scenario.

The Deferred Online ODA solution enables offline data authentication upon tapping into a station and verification of an account status from the issuer at a later time. The solution fits transit scenarios with high ridership due to the extremely short authentication time.
Being one of the contactless transit payment solutions, the UnionPay Transportation Real-time Mode Solution offers a ''pay as you go' model for users to take a trip by tapping their contactless card on the transit terminals. The payment will be authorized in a real-time manner.
The UnionPay Frictionless Parking Solution enables automatic parking payment from a bank card linked to the car license plate number, providing a frictionless payment experience for users in parking payment scenarios. When a car drives through the parking lot gate, the car license plate information is collected by an automatic license identification device and the parking fee is calculated by the car park’s backend system based on its fee calculation rules. Then the parking lot will initiate a card-not-present online purchase transaction to the UnionPay Frictionless Payment Platform (UFPP), completing the frictionless payment.
Transit QRC can be generated on mobile applications. Users can present the code and get scanned by the transit terminal to take a trip. Transit QRC can be generated and validated offline, with no sensitive or financial data involved, which brings great convenience and safety to users.
